Khopra Trek

Khopra Trek

Khopra Trek

It is also called as Khopra ridge trek or Khayer Lake trek and one of the rural trek newly opened in Annapurna region. This trek is suitable for all kinds of trekkers. It is traced away from the busier trails of Annapurna region but provides similarly remarkable views of the Himalayas including Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fang and Nilgiri. During this trek the highest point is Holy Khayer lake (4827 m) which is aslo called Khaire Lake which requires a little wandering away from the Kopra Ridge. It takes eight hours up and down from Khopra Danda Lodge.

People who trek to this region will find the best vantage point to see the heavenly view of mountains, lush green forest of pine, rhododendron, oak and bamboo forests. If we are lucky enough then we will get to see a deer, Langur and yak during our trek.
