Jhumolhari is one of the Bhutan’s most beautiful mountains and it towers over the Paro Valley with a height of 7314m. From Jangothang the view of the mountains is spectacular. It is an adventure, 13-day trip, which starts from Drukgyel Dzong (2580 m) the14 km north of Paro and ends to Dodena nearby the Thimpu. This is a popular hiking with the two high passes including Nyilila Pass (4870 m) and Yelila Pass (4930 m) that offers superb views of the Mt.Jomolhari (7300 m) and Jitchu drake (7000 m).
This trek is moderate to the strenuous journey. Enjoying the camping trip that offers 6 to 8 hours of walking. During this trek we get the opportunity to see a great variety of flora and fauna including rhododendron, different kinds of birds, monkeys and blue sheep. We pass many mountain lakes and get some really magnificent mountain views that border the Tibet and Bhutan where we can see the terraced fields and human settlements in the lowland. Routes in this places are suitable for the beginners, beside others can be long and challenging. The best season for this trek is March to June and October to November.

Day 10 : Rest day and Excursion around Jumolhari Base camp
Day 11 : Jangothang to Yaksa
Day 12 : Yaksa to Thongbu
Day 13 : Thongbu to Gunitsawa
Day 14 : Paro to kathmandu
Day 15 : Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport and back to Home
