Pikey Peak is located at Lower region of Solukhumbu district at an altitude of 4070 m. From Pikey, we can get outstanding view of different peaks like Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Ama Damlam, Lhotse, Nupatse, Numbur, Gaurisankhar, and Langtang. During the trek, we can experience the traditional living of different ethnic groups like Sherpa, Rai, Chhetri and Tamang. It is a short distance trek from the capital city where tourists can enjoy the best view of the highest peak of the world Mt. Everest along with the sight of rare plants and animals and taste of varieties of local cusines.

Additionally, Pikey peak rewards tourists with one of the best sunrises and sunset views. It offers dense forests of Sunpati, Pine, Rhododendron whereas attraction of birds and animals like lophophorus, Crimson Horned Pheasant, tiger, wild bear, Panda, Ghoral and so on. Similarly, Chauri Ghai, Nak, yak and cow can also be seen anywhere in this area during the trek. After a bus or jeep or flight to Phaplu, Solukhumbu ,  a trek of 3-5 days leads us to summit of Pikey.


Day 1: Kathmandu (1360m/4488ft)

Day 2: Half day city sightseeing and prepare for the trek

Day 3: Fly to Phaplu and drive to Patale (2840m/9372ft)

Day 4: Trek to Jhapre (2820m/9306ft)

Day 5: Trek to Pikey Basecamp (3640m/12012ft)

Day 6: Trek to Pikey peak (4067m13421ft) and to Jasmane bhanjyang (3549m/11711ft)

Day 7: Trek to Junbeshi (2700m/8858ft)

Day 8: Trek to Thupten Choling Monastery (2920m/9636ft) and drive to Phaplu (2469m)

Day 9: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 10: Extra day in Kathmandu

Day 11: Fly back to Home
