The trek to Everest Base Camp with Adventure Thamserku was an amazing experience that I shall never forget. Dawa and his guides and porters looked after us extremely well and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone. I hope to be able to trek in Nepal again one day and will definitely choose Adventure Thamserku.

Our guide, Dawa Geljin Sherpa showed the utmost care with our trekking group.This was my first trek in the Himalaya and I feel completely safe and cared for by the most professional guide and trekking team throughout the trip. I would like to unreservedly recommend Adventure Thamserku to anyone considering a trekking expedition in Nepal or Tibet.

We were a group of 15, with the average being 62 also with various levels of previous trekking experience and levels of fitness; however we all achieved our goals.

The very professional team of Sherpas and porters were always on hand to offer assistance.

I cannot recall a single failure on the part of the Company and no situation that wasn’t quietly anticipated and acted upon.

This trip for me was a life changing experience in terms of teamwork within the group, spiritual and cultural awareness.

I could write pages about my amazing experience trekking in Nepal, but I decided to list just a few of the many highlights.

The warmth, friendliness and hospitality of the Sherpa people
The magnificent scenery, majestic mountains, rushing rivers
The flight into Lukla and our departure from Phaplu, white knuckle    experience
The ancient Buddhist monasteries and the peace and spirituality of the Buddhist monks.

Finally I would like to add a special thank you to Dawa Geljen Sherpa and his team at Adventure Thamserku who walked every step beside each of us; you gave us strength and confidence and rejoiced at our success.

What a great trekking experience I had to the summit of Mera Peak under the superb leadership of Dawa Geljen Sherpa. His organizational skills are second to none and he always got the best from his team of guides, cooks and porters. When the going got tough – which it did for everyone from time to time – Dawa was there to encourage us all to go on and achieve what for many of us was a lifetime’s ambition.

Big thanks to Adventure Thamserku for making our trip so memorable. Everything went like clockwork and I cannot wait to get back to see everyone again. We went to Nepal anticipating great scenery (which didn’t disappoint), but came home more in love with the Sherpa people. Dawa and his team have so much knowledge of the area, I don’t think there was a question we asked that they couldn’t answer. I’ve now made several friends for life, thank you all so much!

An absolutely fantastic trek. This combines both the Circuit with the Sanctuary. These two treks complement each other perfectly. The Circuit is a complete immersion into Nepalese culture and the environment starting in the lowland valleys and culminating with the high altitude crossing at Thorung La Pass. The Sanctuary is the the perfect climax for this trek, with unbelievable close-up vistas and panoramas. Mountain Monarch did a fantastic job of guiding. Their policy of one trekker:one porter is to be commended. During our trek, we saw many instances of porters carrying excessive weight (double duffels!). By reducing loads and creating additional jobs, MM is doing a great thing. Keep up the great work, Pradip!
