Langtang region is the closest to the Kathmandu valley, it is one of the most popular trek after Annapurna and Everest region. Langtang National Park is noted for its diversity of wildlife, gorgeous alpine forests and flowers, and of course the mountain scenery is just as dramatic. During the trek we walk six to seven hours per day and stay in comfortable lodges. The Langtang village was entirely destroyed by huge avalanche caused by the earthquake on 2015 and significantly all part of the village buried under a landslide. After the 2015 earthquake the lodges in Langtang village has been already rebuilt and all of them are ready and safe for the trekking. By trekking to Langtang, you will become a part of rebuilding the region and your recreation will be a major contribution to uplift the economics of the local residents.
From Kathmandu, we take a coach ride or a private jeep to Syabru Besi, and then head towards the Langtang Khola river. After lodging here for the night, we commence our approach trek, travelling for several days up the Langtang Khola Valley through bamboo forests and beautiful woodlands where Langur monkeys may be seen before we reach to Kyanjin. The highest elevation we will be doing in this trek is Kyangin ri (4773m).
